Music & Movement French Classes (under 5s) are face-to-face in Edinburgh and East Lothian. Academy Classes (age 5 – 8y 11 mths) are run online via Zoom.
I’m Felicity, founder and creator of the Mini Languages® method. I am an early-years language tutor and mother to three bilingual children. Since 2012, my team and I have been teaching French to children aged 0 to 9 using my own language learning methodology which is based on music, movement, play and positivity.

Class types
Music & Movement (Age 0-5) – Parent & Child or Private Nurseries.
Fun, carefully developed sessions suitable for all preschool children from birth. Sessions are based on our copyrighted music which you access via the online Mini French® Class Hub along with all the song sheets for each term to continue at home.
Children learn key vocabulary from the first session which we build on over the term!

Mini French® Academy (Age 5-8 yrs 11 mths) – Online via Zoom
A fun, tutor-led weekly session working on phonics, practical vocabulary and exciting topics to boost confidence in French for young learners.
Welcoming and nurturing plus detailed communication on curriculum via the Mini French® Class Hub. Suitable for beginners to budding linguists. More details in the class timetable.

Compliment your session with the “Mini Ville” online platform featuring an interactive map and resources database to be explored by adults and children alike.
It features subtitled music videos, topic-based videos, MP3s and fun printable resources. This is the platform every family and educator needs to teach young children the foundations of French in a very nurturing and natural way.
